As the Chief Financial Officer of APGC, Nelson provides strategic leadership and oversight of the company’s financial operations, ensuring robust fiscal management and sustainable growth.
Nelson’s career spans significant roles in the financial and energy sectors, including his tenure as Acting Chief Financial Officer at Jos Electricity Distribution Plc. There, he successfully initiated a prepayment metering scheme that generated over ₦1 billion in revenue and implemented policies that enhanced credit management and cash flow. His expertise in developing financial models, forecasting, and optimizing capital expenditures has consistently delivered measurable results.
A First-Class graduate of Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Nelson also holds an MBA in Finance and Investments from the same institution. His certifications as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI) and extensive training in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), financial modeling, and fraud prevention underscore his commitment to excellence and professional development.
